Deferred

Hope deferred makes the heart sick,
but a desire fulfilled is a tree of life.

Prov 13:12


Not only does the heart feel sick, it can even manifest in physical ways (hello sleepless nights). What else can you do but cling to God even more?


I look forward to moving into the 2nd part of that verse one day...
