People have different tastes. Some people enjoy tacky decorations. Others follow Martha Stewart's rules to a tee. Most probably strike a happy medium. I can appreciate different styles.
However, there is one type of decorated home that when I pass, I try to avert my eyes. It's the homes that have a red or orange candle eerily glowing in each window. It looks more haunted than festive to me.
