While traveling to NY to help move my sister home, we passed the Hudson River. The section we drove by appeared to be a lake to me.

Me: Wow! That is amazing. That lake is beautiful. It's ginormous!

Mom: What is ginormous?

Me: It means really large, like a combo of gigantic and enormous. Ginormous!
